Don't you have to change the speedo (or was it tach?) and the power steering lines? I know you have to do this to put a SR into the "zenki" S13 so I'm guessing you have to do the same to drop in a KA-D. Hopefully this stuff will be included in your purchase of the engine :|

Well i was going to put in KA-D just bc i couldn't find ny SOHC.But since because it will cost almost as much as dropping in CA or SR..I might as well wait a little bit ( end of march or 2nd week of April to get my self a front clip.. what do u think???

I doubt dropping in a KA24DE into a zenki chasis will cost nearly as much as a front clip.

That what i though, but the cheapest Dohc i found was $750 w 40k miles in it. and that is just for the engine, no transmission or nothing else, no flywheels nothing, just block, head, intake, exhaust, injectors+ rail. so add the cost of everything else..transmission, stater, alternater, clutch, flywheel...etc etc et...:(

I put ka24de in my 1990, you need the ECU, the harness, the mass air flow, you have to modify or twist the power steering line and change the reserve on the left side, the bolt hole are already there. Buy a jobber p-flow and that it's. The only thing doesn't work is my RPM. Is good to change the TPS and the trottle body.

danielturbo23-Whats a Jobber P-Flow??You have to change the Throttle body and the TPS???Why? Wouldn't you just use the DE TB and TPS??

You need a new cold air intake (p-flow) and be sure you've got the throttle body and the Trottle position sensor of the ka24de. The gas cable fit but its better to have the one for a ka24de.
