what will i notice?

ok, my car is inmy dad's shop cause i had to take the transmission in. while it's down, i am takin out the catalytic converter, and resonator, adding these funky headlight things at the bottom, attaching a resistor where the AIT sensor is (look at the thread called "free(almost) timing advance kit"), and filling the transmission up with Royal Purple MaxGear oil. What does everyone think the chenges will be? will i feel a noticeable difference, what will happen to my gas mileage etc... thanks guys

Well first, it depends on which cat are you taking out? i know the s14 has 2. and that cheap AIT sensor wont do much at all unless it is warm were you live. you may be able to feel a small difference in h.p. and it will be a little louder. i like that light intake thing!:)

royal purple? Havn't used it, i like the redline syn in my transmission's... sounds good, just remember, if you remove cat, it will be louder!

Dont' think you'll feel that big of a difference especially if your car's not turbo. Those headlight things are cool though!!

You'll feel absolutely no difference from the headlight cover. You might feel a top end difference from having no cat. Overall, everything will be louder and look different.

You probably won't feel a difference at all. All those changes will make your car louder. transmission will run a bit smoother though.

If adding a resistor will make noticeable difference, everyone would have done it already.
