what will happen if i put a new HG and use the same studs?

hey im changing me head gasket i really dont have money to spend on studs right now. what will happen if i us the stock studs i took out my rb20?o yea some time next month im geting a hks turbo 2835 and power fc, im going to make around 380hp would that be good on the stock studs????

if the stock studs have been enlarged(sp?) from say overheating, lifted head and the likes, then yes you will need to replace'em as that wont let the head sit and be fine.

yea i blew my hg by over heating the engine..

You can't afford ~$150? Forget the HKS turbo and get a cheaper one so you can build your engine properly.

You need to go ahead and get arp studs. Honestly I would be looking for an RB25. The money you will spend to fix the rb20 will buy you a Good RB25.

hahaha dude its like a 5 lbs difference. Its cool if you dont like RB25's, but dont base it off something false like a huge weight difference. Also, if youre keeping your car as light as possible, why did u get an RB anyways?

becuase everyone over here has sr20 and i just like your burn them aahhaah.. i drift with my rb silvia and it feels the same as a ka turbo to me . but thats just me hahah..

sorry y0 only weight difference between a 20 and 25 is in the transmission. run a 20 with a 25 transmission and get the best of both worlds.

personally ill take the extra weight associoated with a rb25 and have more power and more potential. but thats just me.

get the damn studs. last thing u want when drifting is your head flying off when your going sideways.

haha lol... yea im going to get arp studs.. but my homie has some studs and a engine that never got over heated before could i use them are should i just get new ones?
