I didn't know AR made modulars and I've certainly never seen that style, definitely unique

modular as in you can take it apart as int he center is a seperate piece, sometimes refered to as 2 piece wheels, although after a closer look the bolts might be for looks?

Yeah I'm almost 90% sure AR never made modular wheels at all. Usually the knobs are just for show and are usually not acrtual bolt heads. I could be wrong though.

Datsun/Nissan never used American Racing, however, back in the day alot of dealerships on the west coast especially used to put more fancy rims on 240's and put them on the lot with a bigger mark-up. The original 240's and 260's had sort of bland rims so I remember like it was yesterday being about 11 years old and seeing my next-door neighbors bringing home a 1972 brand new Z with some very fancy rims, I drolled over that car, begged for a ride and thought it was the bomb. Bought from Miller Datsun in Van Nuys, CA. I bought a 1977 Celica because it looked like a Z (the 77' 280Z was too much for a 16 old to insure).
