As others have posted, it is a factory option. A very rare option that was only offered on XE and some year SE models. Everything else recieved the under cover spare mount. When I priced the rear spare option for a customer, I believe it came out to the $2200 mark and obviously he was very pissed and hung up. I would be too at that price-tag lol.

As you can see from the picture, everyone has the typical under bumper spare as in all the parts on the left bottom of the picture.
