Ok so you need an amp that can be wired to 8 ohms or 2 ohms. When you wire two 4ohm subs together they can create a 2ohm or 8ohm independence depending on how you wire them.

And you need a amp that does an RMS of >400. D Class amps are the best since they draw less power, but they do cost a little more. Ill go look for some good amps and reply.

US Acoustics amps are some of the best amps for the price, and with their low cost, and great performance who can resist them? Check all around the net, everyone agrees that they are ASWOME! I personally had the 600D (D class) and it bumped 2 12s to their max. They are all rated at 12.4volts so depending on you alternator, etc, you will get the rated wattage plus at most 100Watts more output.

Choices

USX600D $157.99 375Watts @ 2ohmshttp://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/us_acoustics.html

Oh ya JBL amps are GREAT also, aswome prices I can get the BP300.1 for $150 and the BP150.1 for $100. So keep that in mind, check out all these subwoofer amps, by pricehttp://www.sounddomain.com/sho...ow=45

Basically look for an amp that does less than 400Watts into 2ohms, 2 ohm amps are usually only subwoofer amps (D Class)

Do you have an aftermarket head unit with an RCA output? If not youll need a line output converter ($30)

A cap is not needed, espically if you getting a D class, caps are for systems with 500+Watts. A cap stores power and releases it when you system needs it. The Profile name is not one of the best, just known as cheap budget amps, but you can get the CA400M for $90, is that the price you looking at? Check out these amps. Reply.

I have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X459 head unit, I am not positive but pretty sure it has an RCA output, I do know that is has 3 Pair of front, rear, and non-fading preamp outputs, so I guess that is what you are talking about. Let me know tonight if you can. Is that Knu Koncepts really a complete kit for $18 cause all of the other ones are like $50. So I will buy it if is is good quality and it is everything I need. Josh

KnuKonceptz is very good quality, they get their stuff at wholesale prices, not big companies like RF, etc. They also sell other stuff thats very good. I got my kit for $35 a while back, before i head of Kun, and all the stuff Ive head about them is positive, the kits even includes speaker wire, and a 50 amp fuse, usually included in 4 gauge kits.
