I love my G. It has power, style, and it’s comfortable. I suppose in the future I will look back on my G as my favorite car. I’ve owned a 68, 74, 87, 90 and 06 Mustang, I’ve loved (except the 74) them too. But I think my all time favorite car was my green 1978 280Z. It had a 4 speed, and an AM/FM radio, A/C and a 170HP 2.8 liter engine. I still think the 280Z is the best looking car Nissan has ever made. I wish I had pics but I’m afraid they are lost.

What is your favorite car?

In the future I'd like a Porsche 911 or a 2008 Altima 3.5SE 6 spd Coupe, you know whichever it faster :hide

Hands down, G35...

I also had an affair with a 88 cobra... supercharged, pearl white, 5.0 L of muscle.... and mean...

They are nice, and scary, AKA widowmaker, but the refined G take the prize. I believe a G would be close to stang in a race, but in reality, what more could you ask for from a car???I've only owned 2 cars, 94 altima, and my newer 04 G35...

Style, Power, the G is pure sex, and I get lots of comments on how hot my car is, I think I'd be getting looks of concern if I was driving an ol' mustang now, sliding sideways all around town, exhaust roaring and distrupting peace.

My thoughts

I had a 3000GT VR4 that was my fav. She was heavy, but the styling was way ahead of its time! The G needs FI to slip into the #1 spot

DEFINITELY my GCoupe.

That being said, each of my cars has a special place in my heart.

My Chevy Tracker, which I took over from my mother in high school, was a real POS.However, I drove it like a pig, beat the hell out of it and she never let me down.I met my wife while owning that car, and at the end, she (the car) had rusted out from the bottom up...let's hope the wife avoids such a fate! (runs for cover)

My first new car was a 2001 PT cruiser, which I really loved at the time. It served me extremely well, was very solid and again, didn't let me down in the 6 years I owned it. You can really pack a lot of stuff in it and it made some nice trips.

But man, my G is so sweet. The only car that I could realistically afford right now that might top, or at least equal it in terms of vying for my attention would be a 350Z, which was the other car I was considering at time of purchase...Sadly it didn't have rear seats so the wife vetoed that idea until I can afford to own it as a strictly summer car.

ive owned a dozen or so cars...i suppose my favorite was my 91 honda civic si hatchback. Big b20 engine swap+cams+nitrous= hella fast.Nothing but trouble though....loud, and fast, and i felt like a criminal everytime i drove it.

I love my G...but my 72 240z is by far my favorite car that I have ever owned...I had a 1970 240z as well but it just wasn't modded out like my 72. Before my 72 met it's unfortunate demise, I had dropped in the L28 block from your 280z and slapped my "round-top" SU's on it with the E31 cylinder head for the increased compression and power with the Borg-Warner 5-speed from the 280zx in a much lighter car.

I will have to conteste the 280z as the prettiest car...I may be slightly biased towards the 240z, but she is definitely hotter than the 280z! Cleaner bumpers and those bumper overriders are hot! =)

Z LOVE!!!

lol... Well my favorite car that ive owned is my 89 Jeep Cherokee Laredo.

It was just a jeep that was my grandfathers and then my mother drove it for a while. I always keept it clean as a teenager.

I was about to turn 16 and my aunt used it to move a layzboy and on her way home totaled it. It was going to be my 16th birthday gift from my parents.

I was so mad when I lost my Jeep.

When i started driving i bought a 1992 caddillac used that was in really good shape. I loved the car and we called it the Jew Canoe (some stupid name my 75 year old grandfather gave it) and it stuck. My friends would say there comes DJ in his Jew Canoe! It was a good riding car. and had the 4.9L V8 with the (then) new 1992-1997 body style. I only had it about six months and then some guy rear ended me going about 40mph and i was stoped at a stop light.

So then i bought a 2001 Lexus Is300. Great car Drove it for a long time. put about 50k miles in 2 years. sold it and bought a 2003 GS430 this car was much of a step up from the Is 300 but was less sporty.

The GS was totaled due to a tree limb that fell durning a bad storm in 2006.

I then bought a 2006 Is350 Brand new loaded. That was by far the best built car that i ever owned. It was a solid Ride. Fast and fun, with a 6speed auto.

I drove the Is 350 for about a year and then the lease was up. I got tired of the payments. So i had saved some money and bought the 2006 G35 Sedan with the 6speed.

I wanted a 6MT so i got the G. I love it and am really happy with the car i bought for 22k in june of 2007

Over christmas i bought a 89 Jeep cherokee laredo like i had. I got it on ebay for 1300 bux with 93k original miles. The jeep was like a trip back in time for me. I was so happy that i got it. it was my xmas present to my self.

It was a one owner trade in. Has new tires and every thing is perfect and works except the paint. The seats look as if they were taken out of a box and installed in the car before i bought it. It even has the factory radio that works and the speakers sound good for their age. The best part is it has no rust.

I drove it from MD to FLA and never had a problem. IT don't even leak oil

Yes it is a 4X4 so i can take it in the mud!

I still don't know what it is But there is something about that jeep that puts a smile on my face every time i drive it.

Hard to argue with that. Except, the 78 had the little hood louvers. Hood louvers are hot. My Z left the family when I found oil in the radiator water, and the diagnosis was a cracked block. Still ran great though. I traded it in, and damned if the used car manager didn't buy it then and there. Never went back to that dealership.

My all time favorite car is my current G35 coupe. Prior to the G, it was my 1976 Mercury Capri II hatchback coupe. This was a fun little German Ford that could carry two bicycles with the back seats folded down. It had a 2.8 liter V-6 and true dual-exhaust. The only downside was that's dual, as in two catalytic converters, two mufflers, two tail pipes and all this before stainless steel became the exhaust system material of choice. Can you say MIDA$?

I love those German Capris....buddy had one we used to tinker with.

Have to say the G is my fav car so far....very well rounded automobile. However, until I got the G, I thought my previous car was my all time fav - 05 Alty SE-R.

I'm considering a third or "fun" car and have to say the new Challenger has my eye. But part of me would love an old classic muscle car.

hmm, my G is my third car. My first car was a 1995 Cadillac STS. That thing was a monster. 300hp&lb/ft and FWD = Massive Torque Steer!! After that, I got a 2001 Acura 3.2TL w/ Navigation. Of the three, as much as i love my G, i have to say that nothing was like that caddy. Dark Adriatic Blue over Dark Blue Leather and chrome wheels, wow. I guess we all have soft spots for our first cars.

I had the same Caddy.. Mine was the STS too. It would spin the tires on dry flat pavement under 2k rpms lol.

Mine was silver on blue with Eagle 1 wheels, they were like a factory upgrade, I even had a sun roof. We would stand up out the sun roof and drive around town like that, I could put like 6 of my friends in the thing.

Had to love the MPG computer, The best i ever got was 15.4 and that was on the highway, around town i got like 10.5 but i drove it balls to the wall!

I had a lot of fun times in that car (not to mention it had a great back seat! )

Well, my 69 Mach 1 will always have a special place in my heart. First car. Bought it with my own money. So many memories from HS & College....Dont know if it was my favorite....

Favorite car might have been my 97 BLACK cobra coupe. Bought it with 9k miles on it. Was like new. Added a Steeda triax, Steeda sport springs & CC plates, Cobra R's and 275's at the corners. Drove Great!!! I don't pretend to be a road racer, but my neighbor who used to race BMW's and has owned Porches and other sports cars was really impressed as well. Yep, this one would probably qualify as my favorite.

Now, to be honest, I'm thinking if I ever get a 6MT G35 in my driveway it will bump my favorite to number 2.

My fave car, since I have only owned 4... would have to be my 2005 G35. I obviously love this car enough to be hanging out on enthusiast message boards, which I have never done over a car before... and it was my dream car when I first saw it in 2003 I was SOLD.... this was IT... yah it was love at first sight...

Other cars I loved, I did for different reasons. My last car, Scion xA, was an amazing little gas-sipper. Lots of room and I had it pretty tricked out looking...

Before this there were my first two, which were both trucks... one Dodge Durango R/T... was a screamer... for a truck...and finally my s-10 xtreme. Loved the style of this truck...

.... but there is NOTHING like my G....

My first car was a 65 mustang fastback that I washed countless dishes to purchase before my sixteenth birthday. By my favortite was the 2001 BMW Z3M coupe with the 315hp S54 engine. That engine was simply awesome. Stupid second divorce forced it's sale. I miss that M more than the ex.

I've had my Athens blue 06 6mt coupe for a couple months and love it. I had the opportunity to buy a new G37 at VVP (or VPP?) pricing but loved the exterior look and wheels, not to mention the price of the G35C. Thought about an E46 M3 but liked the styling better on the G. I also am a single parent of a three year old and suspension of the M3 was a little bone jarring.

First thing my daughter said when she saw my new G was, "Oooohh, Daddy this car looks fast!"

got any pics?

Ok I had too many cars in my life so far. I did not like most of them. I get sick of the same thing after 2 years sometimes less. Not include my wife and son.

I do have a place in my heart for almost all of them. Even for the Fiat 500. Yes I know it is a ridiculous small stupid looking car. I had some fun in it tho. Just to kiss your gf in that car is hard enough and if you want more ... well... that's a chalange. I am kind of excited to see them coming back (Euorope). If I was leaving in Europe I would probably get one for fun car and put a turbo in it. But my favorite was a Lancia Delta s4 turbo. It was a sweat little ride.

Here is a link what you can do with the Lancia delta.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXzkkGqv9Es

My G is the first car after 15-16 months of ownership I am not bored with. This time I usually planing to switch but I just can't do that with my G.
