I need to know what version of ECU is in my car, 'cause I think it's faulty and needs to be replaced. Sorry I don't have a pic of it at the moment, but the numbers on the side are a big 24 in green, and below it is A11-B44-G07. The car is running a swapped-in KA24DE, 5-speed, and I'm pretty sure it's the 91-94 version, but that's what I want to make sure of. I also need to know if this is a California model or not.

I think I read somewhere that this is the 91-94 HICAS ECU. If that's the case, I'm guessing that I should be able to put in a non-HICAS ECU and it will work fine.

Is there a list of these ECU numbers anywhere? I'm in Cali, so I'm guessing I need a California version to pass smog?

Ok, with some additional googling I found a list of ECU part numbers. Gonna post it here, in case anyone else needs it:

The list says this is a 'FED' ECU. What does that mean, exactly?

Same one as mine. A 91-94 manual ka ecu. I've never had hicas so it doesn't make a difference and nope not a Cali ecu.
