what vacuum lines can be deleted?

I just had to replace my head and i figured i would go ahead and delete all of those annoying vacuum line attached to the back of the head. My AIV and EGR are already deleted. I have heard that all i need from that mess back there is my intake to regulator vacuum...is this true?

What is the best transmission fluid to use for my 5-speed. I heard redline was good but i wanted to see what you guys recommend...

If you can afford it, go redline - there is also a transmission flushing procedure if you search.

I'm running Redline MT90 and it i wonderful stuff! Big difference. You'll need 3 but will only use 2.5
