haha ya lock and delete Joe's comments! LOL

No plans for different sideskirts or rear bumper until the car is to be repainted. Couple years at least. Right now, I just want to go fast! Tuning begins on Friday if the weather clears up.

Quick Question:

Kinda dumb thread but....Has anyone looked into it before answering?????

I dunno if there are any, I doubt it but.Maybe something else may work for a Exhaust mani gasket.

The only thing I could see fitting would be something like a thermostat housing gasket, IAC valve gasket, or TB gasket. That would probably be from another Nissan like a V6 or 4 banger.

Thinking a headgasket or exhaust gasket would work is pretty far fetched, and even if it was vaguely close, and all you had to do was make some extra holes for water passages or something, would you want to? How much money would you even save?

Yeah maybe you could save a buck or two.But convenience would far out weigh the $ savings.Especially for those that don't have many shops that carry such things around them.

OEM and aftermarket gaskets and gasket kits are all over the internet and ebay. So, I don't see the point in this thread.

I think the US RB community has gotten past the times when nobody knew where to find parts and very few shops carried anything RB-related.

yeah +1... if you can get on the internet to make a post you can buy a HG and any other mysterious RB parts. I'de never buy RB parts from a shop, simple matter of business you will pay a huge markup over interweb prices.

the times of "Low RB parts support" are over.

Yeah thats true.

I'd say a semi-pointless thread.

But... let's say Friday night your prepping your car for a track day on Sat. And you find that you've got a Exhaust leak from your mani. You don't have a spare hanging around and you don't live near a big city or in the middle of nowheresville.

It would be nice be able to go to a part store order a (example) Chyrsler straight 6 gasket. Go home, slap it on and go about your merry way.

I just like playing devil's advocate. :-)

isnt the Thermostat housing gasket just RTV anyways?

But yeah Waterpump is RTV, Oil pump is specializedIntake and exhaust are specialized

and actually for gaskets and such best place to go ishttp://www.nismoparts.com

by far they are the cheapest I have found so farbut right now, good luck finding a gasket kit south of 200 bucks, It might have cleared up now but there was a shortage about 1-2 months ago

I know MazworX's has a few spares lying around as well.
