As the title says, im about to dump alot of money into my newly purchased S14.

As it sits right now, it has a set of D-2's, and is nicely slammed with 350z rims. Im looking into getting RUCA, rear toe, rear traction, front toe, and inner and outer tie rods. So far, i know im getting 300zx inners. The rest is up in the air. I planned on getting SPL, but before i drop 1,200 bucks on parts, i want to know your feedback....

Soo.... what do you have on your S14/S13? How long? How well have they held up? And most importantly, were they worth the price?

Thanks in advance guys,

Piper

I've got as assortment of SPL things on a '93 hatchback. T/C rods, RUCAs, tie rods. They have all held up pretty well for the 4 years I've had them. I say worth the price. But I haven't checked the prices on those lately.

What are your plans for the car?

Plans are for it to be a DD for this summer, then put it up and go after engine upgrades this winter. And as for prices, they are quite hefty, rear toes are 229 a set, just for starters.

For now, im happy with the coils i have, but if i do replace them, ill be going with stances.... the D-2s are quite rough for a DD. but the handling, even without any other suspension being upgraded, is amazing.

Stay away from battle version ...I have there rucas and the welds are noticeably undercut (means the welding speed was too fast) yes they have held up quite well but I've also been a welder for a while and know what to look for. I also have Megan tie rods and believe it or not have held up for a long time now. Stay away from circuit sport...I've heard of arms snapping or coming loose under normal driving.

The best things I've ever done for my car where replacing all the bushings with the es kit. Only thing I don't really like are the subframe inserts...im getting some collars to add to it.

I'm running all the adjustable arms, sway bars and street coilovers from Megan Racing for my S13. All the parts range from 1-5 years old and have held up great over the duration. I cannot complain at all with this company.

I used to run Zeal SuperFunctions (used) and Tein SuperDrifts for coilovers (new) and Circuit Sports adjustable arms and had recurring problems with both coilover sets and snapped a couple of the arms.

So just cerious, which arms did you snap? When I got my. Megan outer tie rods I was actually nervous about that but actually have held up through some beatings! (Hit a curb drifting in a parking lot when my suspension is set up for mainly drag, still probly driver error though! Lol ). Did you notice much difference from the other arms? I just wanna see if its worth it for drag...my rucas helped my traction quite a bit with an alignment, does it help enough to notice as far as alignment distortion?

Thanks for that info, ill have to look over megan again, i never thought of them as a decent company, so i sort of overlooked them.

Ive seen and heard the same about battle. They werent even on my list of possible parts to by, they are over priced, and i havent heard a good review yet about them.

Ive recently looked into Stance control arms and parts, and if they make arms as well as they make supension, they might be worth a second look. Has anyone had any expierence with these? Or heard any feedback on those parts?

im running HKS Hypermax III's. ive got less than 10k on them so i cant personally vouch for longevity but MY GOD. i upgraded from some Function and Form Type II's and the difference is incredible. they go super low. fully adjustable. epic. just f*** epic. The price...for some not practical but the satisfaction of knowing i dont have megans is soooooooo worth it :)
