I have been without internet for a couple months and I have it back now but it seems every other song I get from Kazaa gets this horrible sounding loud static after awhile. Is anyone else having this problem?

yes, it's because the RIAA (recording industry around america) (or something like that) have been putting crap files on the internet in order to slow down (or stop) the downloading process. Its really annoying and it makes me just want to go buy the cd it pisses me off so bad. But then again, that would be letting them win.

I've downloaded the same song 5 or 6 times and its been bad every time, and for some odd reason another song is in mp2 format, which my mp3 player and Roxio don't accept, which is really annoying.

well...i'm lazy so just find it on google...bit torrent is a p2p, i suggest that you download bit torrent then find yourself some good bit torrent sites like supernova and filesoup, and download away. You get much faster speeds than anything on kazaa.

I use WinMX for songs, and KaZaa for video files. Always get 192+ kbps.

Are you clicking the right link there buddy...I had a problem with it too only to find out I was clicking the link that was trying to start up a local copy of shareaza which wouldn't work because I DIDN'T HAVE ONE INSTALLED...

I'll repost a new link later on--

BTW shareaza IMO owns most of the other P2P progs.

Learn to use it and you should be set. also http://www.supermp3s.net. Also find user groups as well for the latest and best bootlegged material.
