YO. i have a 1990 240sx i bought it for 600, got it all legal for 600 smog dmv's some parts. My plan was to drive the car till the KA dies or till i pass smog 2 years later and get a SR. SO one night the i was doing my drifting thing 90 degree turn 60mph down shift it slide around the turn and i dont get traction bump a dodge neon (600 no insurance ) and my quarter panel is messed up tail light. NOw with much consideration even if i go to the junk yard chop a qp off 100ish paint it 300, it still has a salvage title so if i try and sell it one day with the future SR i doubt i can get my money. What do u think i should do part it out?? IM 1200 maybe its best to cut my loses. ?? and get a better S13 or 14 with a clean title i could get my money outta one day?? (2 cars isn't an option)

I hope you were curtious enough to leave your information so you could pay for the damages you inflicted on the Neon.

Personally I think it was very stupid of you to be drifting on public streets with cars parked on the side. Therfor I can only suggest you sell/junk your car and grow up before you buy another one.

o yeah it was dumb of me and i did pay for the neon to be fixed (600) out of pocket. they actually let me fix some of it i replaced the spindle and fender.

Unless you go to the insurance company and tell them that you want your car fixed and they say its a total loss will it have a salvage title so i say fix it anyways. cuz the person you probably sell it to will be ricer trying to convert to the world of nissan. i say fix it, if you really like your car then you'll do everything in your power to fix it up to the best of your ability. We are to completely different people and what i would do is fix the body then sell it for about 2000 with the new paint job and make a lil extra to buy a new 240. :pface

yeah i know how to fix it and im in an autobody class so i have all the tools to fix its just i dont want to pour more into this mess of a first car if i cant get it out. it has a salavage title from before and this accident will never be known by the world just who ever i tell. and okay j spec ur not a mom ahahahhahahah

Well, we were all kids once i still am so... well 21 i dont know what you count that as but anyways... Best advice i can give you is Learn from your mistake. You were at fault. Although good job taking out a neon! But next time you feel like doing stuff like that goto the track man... i've known people that have died from doing that kind of stuff... Not even racing... Just trying to be cool in front of their GF... Not saying thats what you were doing but...

Yeah i learned my lesson and i realize how dumb it is on the streets and im happy i learned this lesson thru $800 not someones life ect.. Yeah im not sure what to do. I dont want to waste money and i have some more cash in the bank (7k) so i could get a nicer car but i can just fix my car and deal with it so hmmm.
