Let me first start off by saying how frustrating it is not to be able to use my voice recognition via bluetooth. I have a Treo 650 and when ever I get into the car, the system recognizes the phone thereby displaying phone connected. About 15 seconds or so, it disconnects (the signal). No problems there so far. It works great on incoming and outgoing calls. However, when I try to transfer my phone book or even an individual entry, the bluetooth signal drops and all the buttons I need to add the entry or add voice tags withcdims away signifying that this is no longer an option. Those buttons only light up when the bluetooth between the system and the phone is activated, but only for a very short while. Then I have to do the whole freaking process again. Has anyone experience this either with a Treo or another brand of phone? Has anyone been successful in transferring their phone book over via bluetooth? or even adding voice tags? It's so frustrating that I feel like

When replying to this post, please state what type of phone you are using. Makes troubleshooting a lot easier! Thanks in advance guys!

My Bluetooth is working fine. I have a Motorola SLVR (that actually is dying), and my phone doesn't support mass address book sending to the car.

Whenever it disconnects, I see my phone resetting, and there was once a day where it wouldn't connect, so I had to restarted the phone.

Check this out and see if your phone is supported?

I use mine everyday for work as well and no problem making or receiving calls. But does it flash on the Nav screen that the phone is connected and then after about 15 seconds or so it says disconnected? how did you send the contacts over? did you go to the contacts section of your phone, selected whomever, then selected "send contact" then selected bluetooth?

i dont have nav so idk.. but theres a section in the manual on how to do it.. i followed it and it did it fine... thru the fone once you have a contact on your screen, expand it so you can see all #s... then touch top right to bring up menus, then pick send contact, it will ask you how, then click bluetooth!
