I'm running an Apex'i N1 because it was proven by a couple of magazines to make over 20 whp gain on the SR. I'd like to go with something more subtle looking, but I want to see dyno charts first. That way I can balance out the cop magnet factor and hp factor.

Yes, believe it. Option magazine back in the late 90's if you can remember back that far, tested the Apex'i N1 on a Silvia and made 23 whp. Even if you go back and look at Sport Compact Car magazine, issue October 1998. They had a project 240SX. They made 15.9 whp with the Apex'i N1 and Apex'i power intake. Now mind you, this was on a back then brand new 1998 240SX.

CXRacing 3"..sounds awesome and is quite quiet without the silencer. $123 shipped on eBay from "Just-Intercooles" go buy it, its the best bang for the buck, unless you are an "anti-ebayist"

i have the pacesetter exhaust 4 now cuz my stock muffler was completely rotted out from the old man prev. owner only driving it around town. the exhaust is 2.5" all blacked out & is very discrete. it has a decent bassy sound from idle thru 4000rpm. after it gets hi pitched and sounds ok, but when i replace it when i go turbo i will go with the circuit sports exhaust, they sound real good.
