Incorrect. It uses "hotwire" setup (as all MAFs are hotwire), and I used 4 in 4 out based on recommendations from FA.-JeffS14tat wrote:you can't run a cobra maf with the safc II ( could be wrong but i've never heard of anyone running that setup before )
I answered this question on two other forums I visited before strolling over here.People asking the same question on multiple forums pisses me off.-JeffS14tat wrote:cool i never knew you would run those. i learned something new today. why didn't you just answer his question right anyways instead of me making myself look kinda dumb first? lol
WELL MR. JEFF. there is NO need to get in a PISSING war over this at all. IVAN ask me last night to do this so that what i done. if you donot have any thing good to say donot say nothing at all..and by the way there are good people on the boards well help you and not give you ****..i didnot ask a NOOB Q. we need to find that so i can get the afc working right.Jeff240sx wrote:

**** off, prick. I don't care who asked you to do what.. so if IVAN asked.. spamming the same thing on multiple forums is still not ok in my book. However, I prefer to spell it Ivan. And I'd think he knows if its hotwire, as... all MAF setups are hotwire. Know why? Because a maf operates by heating up a wire (omg.. hotwire?) and calculating the mass airflow based on the ammount the wire is cooled.I don't have anything good to say? On the other two forums, I answered your question. Here, I answered your question and gave your the settings for it.So put your panties back on and don't speak to me like that again.-JeffNX95240 wrote:

Irony Noted but Jeff do you have to make an argument over everything?Jeff240sx wrote:That's three forums you've posted on. Can you not just post once and have some loyalty for a forum?-Jeff
Lets see someone else post on ANY of those posts. Lets see an agreement. Otherwise, its MY answer he's going with, the same answer posted on three forums. Not something that was agreed upon.Now.. you being a moderator should know about openly calling out another member, and going off topic. In fact, making a whole, unnecessary post that doesn't have anything to do with the topic. Now leave me alone. **** with me on your own forum.-JeffSHIFT_SR20DET wrote:

The guy simply wanted to enusre he got an an answer that everyone agreed apon not just on KA-t.org but on here too...
What does Loyality have to do with anything here?
Someone can be loyal to more than one Forum...

Actually, there are also MAFs that operate by measuring the pressure on a spring loaded flapper device and MAFs that measure the turbulence of air entering the system (Karmann-Vortex I think they're called).Jeff240sx wrote:... all MAF setups are hotwire. I understand these exist. I was talking about the mafs for our cars. Stock KA (and SR), Cobra and Z32 are all hotwire mafs. And I'm calm.-JeffBlalockStevens wrote:

But those are both pretty rare forms. The hotwire is the most common.
Also, calm down.
