Ok guys heres where i am at in my build, I am trying to figure out what turbo to run on my new motor, i will post a list of mods done to the motor below, Im looking for around 450rwhp, I was going to stick with my bottom mount set-up but decided it would not get me where i wanted to be and since i have fully built this thing i my's well do it all this time and be happy with it, so i have decided to go top mount and have been looking at the peakboost topmount kit with the t3/to4e, Can anyone tell me if this turbo will get me where i want to be hp wise, what rpm it will be hitting fullboost, and will be be laggy??, Or would it be better to go with the gt30 series turbos?? Theres a choice of 400hp & 500hp kits on phase2 could anyone tell me the difference, anyways thanks for any help in advance, heres the build details!!

you've already picked injectors but not the turbo....

what are you doing with the motor? drift, drag, daily, autox? that will matter when choosing a turbo...

No i have not ordered them yet, i'd just like to stay with 740's or 810's.

It will mostly be drag raced, with the occansional drift session, it will be driven on the streets also every once in awhile..

You're going to want something that'll spool in the 4k range and pull all the way to redline, whatever that may be... The T/S 3071r is a great turbo for this... If you're looking for DD and faster spool I would run a 2871r. I'm personally going to run an FP 20g on mine... Suppose to have similar spool up as a 2871r, but capable of laying down more power and having a broader power band... I'll be running almost 9.2:1 comp ratio though, so I'll decrease spool time a bit compared to the 8.5:1 guys... Also I'm more into drag and I'll probably still DD her as well... But this setup should be good for auto-x as well.

That sounds like a great set-up man, i was thinking about going TS with the 3071, but the t3/t40e comes in the peakboost kit and if much cheaper, does anyone no anything about these turbos??

gt30 is nice,

You're going to have to sacrafice alittle bit of one for the other. Choose a turbo close to what you want. 3071r is most likely what you are going to want to run. I think Toby is putting down almost 400rwhp, I'm not sure if that's on pump gas or not but that's a powerful car. I think you have some gas stations that offer upper 90's octane fuel if I'm not mistaken. Use that to your advantage. But if you want big power, you're going to have to give alittle up n the spool time..
