Well what do want to do (drift, drag...)? What kind of HP do you want?

It kind of depends on your preferances. HKS turbos are made by Garret, ApexI by IHI, Blitz by Borg Warner (im pretty sure, also make Porsche and other Euro turbos) and Greddy I forgot. HKS and Greddy make more choices available in the US than ApexI from what their catalogs show. Blitz offers the K3T and K5C though I dont know those power numbers. The only really useful website on this side of the ocean is the HKS website. ApexI and Greddy are least useful due to lack of options and not being updated.

ApexI: http://www.apexi-usa.com/intak...s.aspBlitz: http://www.blitz-na.com/Blitz_Turbo_%20 ... .htmGreddy: http://www.greddy.com/products/turbo.htmHKS: http://www.hksusa.com/categories/more.a ... urbonetics: http://www.turboneticsinc.com/catalog/index.html

If you really want 325 RWHP then id say stick to a S15 T28 and tune the engine well. That would be the cheapest turbo upgrade for the money.

Blitz is KKK and Greddy is Mitsubishi

I don't think the S15 turbo would do 315rwhp. You'd have better luck with somthing like a GTiR turbo, but even that might be pushing it more than you should.

I'd say GT2530 or GT2540, or better yet go with an Apexi turbo.

GReddy T67 has too much lag. I think I'm going to go with the Big28....it can produce up to 440hp. Awesome power, and kicks in shortly after 3000rpm

The S15 turbo is about the most overrated thing on the internet, followed closely by the 'big 28'. 440hp out of a smallframe turbo built in sombody's back yard.... yes HKS' best effort with somthing that size can't do more then about 330hp. Do you think they could be lying to you?

Who said you will get over 400hp out of a Big28? LOL?? Dont believe everything you hear....that housing will never produce 440hp

Too much lag? yea, maybe if you throw it on a totally stock sr20det....but if you did it correct, with the right cams, its definitly not 'too laggy' of a turbo.

Especially for drag use, (which you asked)...BIg28 and s15 would not be suffice for drag racing....12 seconds is not fast in drag racing anymore.

OH, and you shouldnt be concerned with spooling at 3000 if you are drag racing.....Lag is a relative thing, and a laggy turbo in drag racing isnt necessarily always a bad thing....no need to be spooled by 3000rpm really.

yea, I left the line in my CA at 6,000rpm...... the .5sec of turbo lag helped my 60ft time

Thanks Jesse...I guess I shouldn't have said drag...I guess I should have said I want at least 350wrhp...and a 12 second car...I'd mostly be using it for drag...no autocross. But as a hobby...nothing ridiculously serious. So I guess t3/t04e is my best best??

I like my TD06S (20G), spools quick and pulls real hard, no times, or dyno #s yet, soon though, allthough its got some drag silvias running pretty quick in Japan.

No, my 20G came with my clip. It's a Trust turbo, made by mitsubishi heavy industries, but I don't think it came off an eclipse, you can see pics of it here http://www.sr20detinfo.com/myswap.html

the T3/T04e is looking quite tempting. ive seen one car on this site already put out over 400RWHP with it on an SR20 and his car ran an 11.94 with the video to back it up.

and you can get it with a ball bearing center section from turbonetics for only a little more than an S15 T28 would cost

With the T3/T04e setup you need to get a new intake? Why? I was checking out the Greddy intake manifold today...

350rwhp should be in the 11s with traction right? Aubrey over at Freshalloy has 325 rwhp and ran 12.3 with no traction in second gear boost. That was with drag radials not slicks.

maybe, its hard to say, there is no exact method of figuring it out (which is why those online horsepower calculators dont work)...its possible...but a 12.3 with drag radials, should be a 11 with slicks....but something else will give....like Axles...so you may never make it accross the line : )
