So I bought an CA18DET engine with a mystery turbo on it.It has the same intake flange as the ca18 (not the 2 bolt flange like the sr) but has not the same AR has the ca18.Compressor: .080turbine: 0.64

Also the turbo has an ajustable wastegate rod. I want to sell the turbo so I want to know what turbo it is.Thanx

Sr left Ca18 right

It looks like the sr but has the intake shape(not the 2 bolt like the sr) of the ca18.Someone told me It is an GT25.Has for the ajustable wastegate rod,I assume everybody knows what it looks like.

It says A/R .40 right on the compressor housing.

Maybe if you post the part number on the tag on the center section someone can look it up instead of guessing?

How do you know its the same? If he says it has an A/R of .80 on the compressor, it is not the stock CA turbo. The A/Rs match the SR turbo, but without the serial number off the center section, it is impossible to tell.

The European turbo's had a larger compressor housing. It could be a Euro turbo. Is it an 8 port head, or a 4 port head?

ok, the one on the right is a stock ca turbo. same as the one that is staring me in the face right now. mine was/is a 1989 jdm 8 port and that is definitely the turbo that came stock. the one on the left though is considerably more stout.
