LOL...is that a step above or below the infamous Blows Goats family of turbos?Yellow4g63 wrote:your wrong Kamin. The Rb20 turbo falls under the family tree of Suck Ares. Don't even bother with it.
If you are going to use a turbo that isn't internally gated, you need to have an exhaust manifold that has a fitting for an external gate.j3w1z wrote:So i'd have to use a t3 manifold then.. btw i'm going to use this for my ka-t setup.. the turbo i'll be getting wont have an actuator =( .. will i be able to use an external wastegate? or should i just buy a stock actuator from a t25,t28, or a rb20 turbo..
Yes i think they have the same family tree.C33LaurelRacer wrote:

If your turbo is internally gated all you need is an actuator and the arm. If you have a stock RB20 turbo, I have an actuator for you from my old turbo. Or you can just buy my old turbo as a spare or to rebuild it if you want. I'll make it cheap for you too. If you just want the actuator, $50 plush shipping and it's yours. I'll ship it out on Saturday.j3w1z wrote:i just got the turbo.. it is internaly wastegated.. i just need to get an actuator.. so would i have to weld up where the external wastegate is suppose to go in the t3 manifold? cuz i wouldn't need it right?..sorry for the newbness lol
