What turbo do you guys use and what #'s are you getting at the wheels? I'm looking for a great turbo that makes the most power with the least amount of lag.

I forgot to say that also has an internal wastegate (bolt-on).

Almost all turbos will not be bolt on because of the Down pipe flange. And the ones that are bolt on are very $$$$$$

This is the reason why i was trying to work with Forced Performance on a rb25 upgrade kit but they didnt really want to give me to much out of the deal while my car would be down for them to do r&d... so maybe if you guys email them and tell them you want something like this they'd get serious about it. They are the ones that make the big28 sr20 upgrade.

anybody running hoslet turbos? hx30, hx35 ,hy35 hx40 etc... they use a t3 flange and are good for 400 -650 hp. these are used in dodge turbo trucks. alot of the svo mustang(2.3 turbo), turbocoupe, merker xr4ti are using them and making very good power 400+on stock internal 2.3ltr 4 bangers. some of these turbos can be had for as little as $250, for a 500 hp turbo.just another option.

its not the turbo flange its getting EVERYTHING designed so it is a complete bolt in upgrade, no modifications at all... i think that would be awesome for the rb20-25 community but o well.

I was looking for that sort of option, there are plenty other companies that do similar stuff dekand. Its just that FP got so much publicity for the big t28 for sr20's.

I as well would like to see a place rebuild my turbo, ported possibily, different frontside, but same exhaust housing. Also, change the wheel, maybe a clipped wheel, larger etc whatever it takes.

I was running a T4 gerrett gt30r while still using the stock exhaust manifold. I made an adapter tube that made it possible to run the T4 flange and also have an external wastegate.

I upgraded to a topmount manifold and im now running a T4 gerrett gt35r with the 1.04 housing and q trim wheel. With the much bigger size of this turbo over the gt30r, there isnt much of a diff with spool since the stock manifold flows like @$$

but like people are saying, i had to make a new downpipe, and i didnt run an intake since i dont run the MAF anymore so there was no reason to really do it
