What triggers code P1320? (97 Nissan PU XE)

I have a 97 Nissan PU 4x4 XE (2.4 L).For some reason the code P1320 keeps on showing up. I reset the computer couple of times (just to be sure), and the light stays off as long as the engine is on. The moment I re-start the engine the light comes back on.(It's only triggered at startup)

I did a minor tune-up including changing the distributor cap and rotor, without any luck.

Anyone knows what else this code could be triggered by?

The ignition signal from the primary circuit in the dist. is not being detected by the ecm. Check for a wire that might have rubbed through or backed out of the harness connector at the distributor or coil.
