What transmission oil and gear oil should i use for my 240?

As title states, i cant decide on which transmission oil to use for my 240. i have a 1998 240sx, Stock Ka24de. Ive heard about Royal purple, Redline but idk what to use for MY 98 KA24DE , i need some oil for my transmission and gear so if someone could recommend me somethin that would be great, oh and tell me where i can get it too.

really anything would work, but i preffer and run mobil1 or redline

Ive heard mixed opinions about royal purple, but I am trying it in my SR trans...we will see. Autozone carries most, Napa prolly too

i forgot valvoline. they got good stuff too. i also heard mixed things about the purple, but honestly im just not willing to pay that much for oil

transmission oil as in automatic transmission fluid is definately different than a manual transmission's gear oil.

ya i have a manual transmission, so does that mean for me that gear oil is what i should put into my transmission?

since a transmission is made of a bunch of gears, gear oil is best...

and 2.5-2.8 quarts should fill her up!

fill it up when its bolted on the engine and take it out the side bolt and fill it up when the car is level... when oil starts coming out the side your full
