More specifically to enlarge the hole for intercooler routing and to cut a hole where the battery used to sit.

use a large hole saw drill bit. about a 4" one will work on the battery tray area. to enlarge the hole where the stock intake is use a sawzal. i used a grinder/cut away tool because i didnt know where the sawzal was.

Same here. I used a razor blade to cut the front facia where the intercooler piping goes. IDK if it will get in your way, but it got in my way. For the stock intake part, I used a large set of tin-snips. It got the job done. Just do what you gotta do.

if you have the workshop or space i'd say use some air shears (nice little tool i picked up from the snap on truck), i would think a saws all would be to bulky to lug into the little of space, but i guess whatever works. and to the guy that used the metal snips, i bet the joints in your hand felt lovely that day.
