I'm sorry if I missed it but I tried searching but all I can find for rebadging is about the JDM 350GT badging. My question is what can I use to stick the emblems back onto my car? I took the "INFINITI" and the G35 off but it left marks on my car so I decided that I'm going to try light sanding or just stick it back on after painting it black.

3M has a Molding Tape that comes in various widths.

Make sure that you clean both sides with alcohol to get all of the dirty and oil off. Also make sure your fingers are clean or use something to apply them that is clean.

Wait wait - don't sand it. I took the "INFINITY" and "G35" labels off my coupe and left the logo on the back. It left the residue on there but theres a relatively easy way to get it off. Just takes like 45 mins and alot of scrubbing lol

Get some WD40 and a clean rag, douse the rag with the WD40 and start cleaning. You can also use a smooth credit card to help scrape the sticky stuff off during the process. It took me about 45 mins, but it came off really clean. Then just wipe it off with some soap and water, then you should be good to go

I think John's marks are paint deep. Not sure.

That's what it looked like, John.

Ok so today I tried sanding it but it looks like the emblems would go back on after I paint them black...to be continued.

If you sand it, use a 2500 grit, then a cutting/rubbing compound, then graduate up through the finer polishes.

When you buy the Skyline badging, it shoulf have the sticky tape already on it.

If you need to add sticky tape, use 3M acrylic adhesive tape. It is about $15. per roll.

You don't need to buy the 3M adhesive primer, do as SBD said, and use alcohol.

if you use a wax, or clay spray - you could kind of polish off the marks. May take a little elbow grease and maybe a few tries but should honestly work the first time. Let us know what ever you do.

A clay bar should be able to get the residue off in one shot.

Do you still have the Nissan part numbers for them? I'd like to try and get them from my local dealer. I work for at a VW dealer right down the street from Nissan. And they hook me up at cost plus 10%. That could save me some $$$.

Yeah, but the part numbers aren't USDM Nissan part numbers... They're Nissan motorsports international, I think.

84896-AM900 350GT SMALL $20.7462890-AM900 V35CPE GRL EMB $16.8884890-AM900 JDM NI RR V35C $12.8184895-AM900 SKYLINE EMBLEM $24.16

Thanks. Now lets see if the Nissan dealer here is smart enough to figure them out.

They are all still good part numbers. They had to get them from Nissan Motorsports. Prices have changed some.

Thanks for the info. FYI on everythingG35.com has the Skyline door sills.
