what to tune an ls1 with ?

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

whats something good to tune an ls1 on ? as in a computer, im not trying to spend a whole lot of money, just to manage simple things, more air, more fuel, timing and what not. the motor is staying n/a

My friends is using EFI Live on his LS1 - i dont know much about it - check out the LS1 tech forum and search for it because lots of LS1 guys are using it

Factory ECU + (HP Tuner, LS1 Edit, and any other tuning software for the Gen 3 or 4 GM cars) = standalone
