what to put in my 300zx

ok so I bought my z knowing i was going to do a motor swap as i am saving up the money i now have a problem which motor should i get for it vg30dett rb26dett or go the v8 route and get a vh45 or a vk56 keep in mind i would like to get the most bang for my buck n i would like to be able to use my z on the street and track

They really hate talking about swaps lol. I have a similar post and no one's said anything in like 3 days. Oh and Ive heard the VG can be beast with the right mods and its not too expensive. The RB is the best but obviously the most expensive to setup properly. I would personally say VG.

loj makes a nice kit to drop an ls in without much hassle and is what I would do if going v8 otherwise a TT is your best bet unless you have the fab skills to fit the other engines.

I say stick with the VG. There's plenty of aftermarket and they can and do make as much power as you want out of them. Look up the "bane 300zx" on youtube. That's just a single turbo VG.

it all depends on your budget. The RB is gonna cost you a lot more

I figured I would just do vg30dett but I would love to do a vr38 in a z but I'm not spending 20 grand on jus a motor lol
