Hello Everyone,

I'm considering purchasing a automatic 6 cylinder Altima, possibly 04 or 05. Is there anything I should look out for? Are there any defects on this model car? How stable is the trainy? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome . The Altima that you are considering has a VQ under that hood which is a 14 years running as wards 10 best engines...........can't really go wrong. I myself have had only one minor issue with the AC which was covered by the Nissan Extended warranty.

Very good daily, very fun car, I would go with the 2005 if you could for the simple fact it has the triptonic for " manual" control.............comes in handy. If there were any major issues though, I am pretty sure the defects were recalled by now and taken care of. Run a car fax to play it safe, Goodluck!!

*EDIT* Added bonus as well is the MPG is pretty solid for what the ride offers performance wise
