Hey guys, got a guy/friend who got a deal on some coilovers for me, they are HKS, but used. I am just wondering what I should look for when I go check them out. Ie. signs of wronful wear n tear, or soon to blow. Things like that. Anything you think would be good to check out before buying. These will be just to hold me over until i get new coilovers, unless i get can them rebuilt at some point for cheap.

test out the shocks to see if theyre blown. If you see dirt/ grime caused by oil, its possible signs of blown shocks. You can also take the spring out and test the shocks yourself to see if theyre blown. With the spring out, push and pull at the shock absorber... if theres resistance on both the pull and push... then it should be good. If it feels loose, that means its blown.
