what to look for

whats up, i may be picking up a 2002 qx4 in the next week or so and want to know what to all look out for as the car has 106k miles.

any maintiance that needs to be done around this milage? anything that you feel may go wrong?

most of all would you trust a 2k2 qx4 with 106k miles on it for a daily driver/winter car?

if everything checks out i will probilly try to get an extended warrentee on it, but i want to know what to look out for.

The QX4's are pretty reliable. You get the VQ35DE, which is a great engine... THere really isnt anything that seems to go wrong with these cars that causes the vehicle to be immobile. Read the sticky at the top of this forum, main problem with QX are the o2 sensors, there is a TSB that needs to be done... your nissan/infiniti dealer may need to reflash the ECU.

for maintenance, 100k is kind of in the middle between 60k and 120k service, so id make sure that the 60k service was done, and if it hasnt then id go ahead and do it. Its not terrible involved, mainly just replacing the sparkplugs
