OK seein as how my last post was such a hit i decided to try another lol

All jokes aside i need more neewbie advice. There is a recently swapped (@home garage swap not a "pro/tuner shop install")...his car is for sale on our forums down if you look back a page or so...i just need to know what to look/watch for and listen for if i decide to purchase this...(i also would be putting my sds purchase on hold )

So , any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

so i backed out of the deal, car needed too much work for my budget....but i do think this would be a good post for people to read when looking to buy a ca powerd car...so ...any advice ??

Also, talk to the owner and see how he talks about the car. If he can remember excatly what was done and when, you know he takes care of the car.

You have to look accidents that the car may have been in. You can see man made welds on the body, etc. Bring a magnet with you and check the body for filler. The magnet (lightweight) will not stick to bondo. Also, bring a friend that knows about cars or just a friend in general. Two minds work better than one.

bump

im looking @ another one...anymore advice?/ i guess im asking what to listen for or feel out when i do the test drive...i had an auto ca s13 when i lived in japan so im sure its quite different...also my bro in law had a few k's ca's but he wont be w/ me when i do the test drive (and he's yer avg "take my car to a tuner shop to fix it" kinda guy so im not really looking for too much info from him lol)
