Well I'm almost at the point where my car will be drivable to take it to a dyno. I'm running a JWT ECU so I really don't have anything to play with other than base timing. I think that I will be getting a wide band for extra security, just got the motor built and I don't want to pay for that again.

I'm not sure what to look for in a reputable shop. I have been recommend to a shop, but I hate to go on that alone (free advice). Do most dyno/tuning shops have a way to check for timing under WOT? I don't want to buy an MSD techtom if I'll only be using once.

Should I look for a shop that does their majority of work on imports and turbo applications or would I be okay at a place that does mostly domestics? Here are links to the shops that I am considering.

So I talked to this dude on the phone,

and asked if he could measure timing under WOT, no he can't. Told him I was planning on running 72lb injectors and he was dumbfounded. "on that little engine, that's like enough for 500 hp!" He tried to tell me that that was a bad idea and that I should run some high impedance 60lbers. This dude also does rom tuning but has never heard of JWT and has never worked on a Nissan before. I think I'll find someone else, thank you.

Thought I'd share cause I had a pretty good laugh after I got off the phone

I forgot to mention the most important point. He told me that if I turbo a NA engine, then the ECU will automatically advance the timing under boost and lead to detonation. I asked him why and he replied, "because they all do." Run that by me again but I was sure that the ECU would pull some of the timing if you would turbo it and remove all the pollution control devices.
