what to know about 2002 Q about to buy?

I found a 2002 Q for $18,000 with only 47 k miles.

I have a '96 Q and know about it's problems, would like info on what to look for on the '02.

Few know except the dealers! Due to extremely low number of sales!We have a few customers................engine mounts, shocks, belts, batteries, most are just overwarranty and haven't hit the 120k magic auto destruct point.

Watch for oil burners.

The diff gearing was focused on mpg not performance in the first 2 years [2002-2003] .

Add the throttle pedal and TCU update (it's a TSB and expensive if not done under warranty) and verify 3750 OIC, or walk from the deal.

Dealer service history, inspectin by a senior tehcnician, andextended warranty backed by Infiniti are all worthwhile investments.
