I am replacing the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, pilot bushing, and release bearing on my '82 280zxt 2+2. I have it all apart and already replaced the bushing(i didn't grease that), but i was wondering what should i be greasing. I know the clutch disc doesnt need it, but i wanted to know if the bearing and flywheel do. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well, that pilot bushing in the center of the flywheel and crankshaft gets greased all kinds, both sides. The clutch fork pivot point and where it contacts the throw out bearing housing get greased up nice. I guess where the fork hits the slave cylinder could be greased as well. The shaft that the throw out bearing housing slides up and down gets greased as well as the center of that housing. That's about it I think. You could lightly grease the surface of the throw out bearing where it presses the tines of the clutch plate if you wanted. Use grease with molybdenum for all of it.
