What to get before the swap

I tried to search and couldnt find the topic the was posted awhile back about what to replace on the engine before swapping it in, If someone could shoot me a link to it I would be more than appreciative. Thanks Jarrett

Depends on what you want to do... I didn treplace a damn thing on mine. Not the best idea...but. I guess you could start with the basics..

I cant think of anything else. The headgasket and timing would be easier if the engine were out.

Well I was psoting what I wanted to do. I have had a head gasket fatality before so......just being extra cautious...

it will all catch up to you in the end, I say do everything you can while the motor is out and easy to work on. You won't regret spending the extra money now, instead of later when you find out a turbo seal is bad and have to spend hours taking apart your engine to replace a $10 part.

Ok, I need RB20 I/E manifold gaskets, water pump, thermostat, and upgraded belts. Do any of these carry over from the RB25/26? Any vendors want to jump out of the woodwork and sell some stuff? If I have part numbers, where can I get the parts ordered?
