What to do with the clear stickers on side of Altime Coupe?? Help?

whats up people?

i just got my A/C only about 3 weeks ago.. and finally had a chance to wash it for the first time myself. while washing it i noticed that there are 2 clear stickers on each side of the car (total of 4) and they look like 3m clear bra stickers but wasnt sure if they needed to be on there after the car was purchased.

anyone have these on their car? have you removed them? kept them on?here are some pics to show what im talking about.. hopefully you can make them out... i pointed my finger to make it easier...

clear bra materials.. on all of them... to prevent rock chipsI hope you didnt get it from those guys on 25... legend? they were really nasty and "pigeon-holed" me as a snot nosed teenager.. when i was looking to drop a 30,000 check on them... bad business

im actually looking for a place to clear bra the hood.. idk any LI installers that i trust with it.. i got my windows done for $140 if your interested

Man wished I would've asked you where to get my tints down for 140 cause i paided 200, at least they did a good job. I had only noticed two of the stickers never noticed the other 2 learn something new everyday

right now im in between long island and NC.. i have my house still up for sale in NC and i think on my next trip back down.. i will go to a local tint shop that i had dealt with before. they do flawless work for about $200.. im thinkin of 20% all the way around.. and maybe 15% for the windshield strip.

im contemplating removing the clear bra stickers from the side just because i dont think thats a good spot to protect nicks... i already have a few road wear nicks pretty tiny in the front bumper... like 3 specs... and i dont see how the rear sides of the car will get nick'd?

hey man... i could draw a million funny comparisons... but why would you take it off? usually they dont put stuff on the car it doesnt need... i mean why waste the time and product if its not needed? The fact that this comes from the factory, alone tells me there has to be something to it... during XYZ testing they saw that it would help... leaving alone the fact that it may damage the paint removing it, or leave a "dark spot"

The guys at advantage are really nice... i know a few of the managers... (i had to get mine in NJ though)... As far as parts are concerned, the website allnissanparts or whatever... they have the same prices... The rubber mats for instance were $64 from my boy at Advantage... the shipping is a killer, and he doesnt own the joint so he cant just cut it to me at cost... as far as anything else on long island... i get away like a madman... check slickdeals.net for HookedUpStang (my tag before the altima!)

Yeah they were really nice cause i was originally gonna get it from Garden City Nissan but they are rude but they offered a awesome package of Free Oil changes, transmission change, and engine coolant change for life, but for cause of their attitude we went to Advantage Nissan. my sales man was Luis

Well I only have them on the passenger side. Since I had damage to that area on the drivers side, they removed the top one so they could fix and repair.

When I got the car back I noticed they left the bottom one on and as I went to peel it off I saw that they just painted over it (You would think they would take it off or at least ask me about it first!). Anyway, now I want to remove the other ones just haven't had the chance to do it yet.

yeah those are on my car also. when i took my car back to the dealer to get my windows tinted, the person I talked to said they were supposed to be there. But they bother me sometimes, being as my car is white, so if it gets the slightest bit dirty, a line of dirt can be seen right where they stick on. I'm afraid to take them off though because they told me they were supposed to be there. haha.

oh ****.... lol i took mine off like 4 months ago lol it bothered me seeing those lines and i was like wtf is this plastic ****? lol me and my friend took it off. no big deal for me, i don't really go on beat up roads.... except when my brother was driving my car to work (someone cut his convertible top) but ya.

errrrg the stealership throws that in your face. what you do is you take the cost of an oil change and then do that times the warranty, then you ask for that amount off the car. that is what i did. My boss got an 2007 sentra and he fell for that. he said that they will only do the oil change if he is at 3000 miles that means if he has the day off and is at 2500 they won't do it untill he hits 3000. Also he can only get the reg oil no Mobil 1 (what i use and am loveing it). Oh and they never take his car first, they don't care because they know he will come back. i dislike the deal i don't know about you guys
