Guys - today I put down a deposit for some aftermarket work on my car (AEM "CAI" + Stillen catback on an 08 3.5SE Sedan). I also realized a few hours later that my stock components still have some value and that I could knock down the cost of the upgrades if I sell the OEM parts to the shop or some other person.

Anyone have any recommendations on what to do here? I'm going to have to figure this out soon because we ordered the intake/exhaust for rush delivery and I'm dropping the car off on Tuesday.

Well rush delivery was silly. Be patient and wait 3 to 4 days...

Ummm id say save your oem parts and put them back on when you sell the car. And sell the aftermarket stuff on here or ebay...

Save everything, return car to stock before selling it, sell aftermarket parts on here or ebay...

aftermarket parts reduce the value of the car.

Thanks for the advice everyone! However, I'm planning on keeping this car for a while, or at least longer than it will take for those aftermkt parts to become worthless.

I guess I'll just put cover up the OEM stuff with blanks and throw it in the garage in case I decide that I hate the catback and LWAI (lukewarm air intake)...

I would save all of your OEM parts. I have been saving mine (front bumper, headlight bulbs, spare tire foamy stuff) I plan on having this car until it cr@ps out on me, but in never hurts to keep it just in case
