Ok, so I bought the Stillen back window spoiler off of a member here.

I'm wondering what shall I do with it? It is black but the corners of it need to be repainted so I need to paint this either way.

As some of you know, I have Bat's Black Roof Overlay on my roof. I like it and all, but I kinda just used it as a demo to see if I like my roof black.

Answer: I love my roof black. Now I want to make it permanent. I want to paint it black.

Where I need your opinion is this:

My rims are matte black; so... Should I paint my roof matte black or gloss black?

Once that question is answered, how should I paint the stillen back window spoiler? Shall I paint it to match the roof? Or shall I paint it white to match my car?

I won't say what way I'm leaning. I want all of your opinions first.

If you're gonna make your top all black, keep it flowing like that, so paint the roof spoiler black.

Im just throwing out that idea!

Black for both, you pick gloss/flat. Flat may look a bit awkward with the sunroof though.

If the overlay isnt deteriorating, why take it off just to spend more money?

That's what I'm thinking. I still want to do it though. What if I were to put a matte black overlay on the sunroof?

not just the sunroof but the back window also. you have your back window tinted pretty dark right? well its black and because its glass, its shiny (just like the sun roof)... my opinion is that if your going to do it, go gloss black.... my friend has a white E500 benz with a E63 AMG body kit on it. he has the glass roof so its black and then he has tinted windows in the back and a gloss black roof spoiler or window spoiler (or what ever its called lol)..... its not my style but it looks good..... i just cant see a mate black roof looking good unless the whole car was mate black

Damn, I hate to say it but you're right. I kinda would hope the back glass blends in with the side windows.

I was leaning towards a matte black but honestly I would go with the gloss. I think if your car was a matte white it would be a different story but I doubt you will paint your entire car

And with the spoiler have that glossed too because if you paint it white it'll look awkward mashed between your window and roof. and if it's matte with a gloss roof and the windows it'll look a bit funny as well because it's too far from the rims to have any subtle accent values if you know what I mean
