I think all stock turbo cars haev a bypass valve, to blow the air back into the pipe and bov blows out.

if I replace the hotpipe and get a bov, what should/will happen to the stock bypass valve?

a bov can still be re-circulated into the intake tubing for the most part...either that or if you have it atmospheric, prepare to spend time making it work right

no. remove the OEM valve, and replace it with the BOV.

take the time to recirculate the BOV. the factory bypass valve gets removed.

you just replace it at the same spot? I been told that it doesn't work that way, I actually need to weld the stock by pass valve shut and then install the bov on the hot pipe..?

just cap the stock valve at the point where the vaccume line goes to and you will be fine. no vaccume = valve will not open...

Atmospheric venting=fireballs from the exhaust:D

I would remove the bypass valve and plug where it use to go on the intercooler. Especially since they have a tendency to leak and takes about 5 minutes to do.

i'm having the same problem what do you do to cap off the part of the intercooler that connects to the stock bypass? weld it shut or i was thinking a round piece of aluminum that will cover it and lots of duct tape?
