What to do, what to do....

So I'm not quite satisfied with my 240 as of yet. I've fixed the sticky throttle, and cleaned up some of the interior, and got a new gauge cluster(speedo wasn't working). I still need to put the headlight motors in, but haven't gotten around to it. It was tough enough getting them out at the junkyard. After that I still need to remove the awful tint , get a new shift knob and shift boot, black center piece(the part that goes around the heat controls and cd player, etc.) cuz this white one looks like ****. Even after all this I'm not sure if I'll be satisfied with this one. But I think I'm going to sell my 1990 Mazda MX6 and keep this 240 for now. Its got 103k, tint, cd, kenwoods all around, rockford amps/subs, exhaust, and alloys(well only 3). I'd like to get at least 2k out of it. Was wondering if I should use autotrader.com or just go with classifieds. Then I think I'm gonna keep looking for a better 240. I wish I would have held out longer for a DOHC. The front bumper is better, 15 more hp, hopefulyl get the nice 7 spoke alloys for winter, etc. I want to find a gold one so bad. I also think I'd like a coupe. They look very nice with suspension/wheels. But if I go this route, I'll probably hold off on suspension, maybe get some nice rims/tires for auto-x cuz they're easy to change cars. I don't know if I can take driving around without a stereo system tho(although I did it for 2 years before my mx6). What do you guys think I should do.P.S. If I remove my front spoiler lip will it look better?

i looked for a coupe around kc for a long time, finally bought one off ebay and the next day a 5 speed coupe was in the paper about 25 miles from me. pmtfu. anyway, my little brother wants a 240 now (i dont know who is responsible for that), he's selling his dirtbike, pb gun, etc so he can find a good 5 speed car. if you're not in a big hurry, he'll have enough soon.

I actually took my front bottom lip off of my 89 fb. It was all cracked and damaged from previous owner. As soon as I took it off I noticed it looks a lot better now and it has about 2" of clearence I don't have to avoid on dips and all that crap.IMO take it off. Only takes about 10 mins. to take off and the results are satisfying. -Jeromy

If you ever lower it you're gonna wish you had that underspoiler...trust me. I'm pretty sure you don't want to have your bumper scrape. Better the underspoiler than the bumper IOW.

well i discovered yet another shady thing about my 240. The front bumper must have been replaced because under the lip its blue...

My underlip was yellow plastic painted over with the factory red but had a cheap a$$ burgundy painted on it. ANd it was all scrapped up and just plain messed up. If and when I do lower my car I will probably put it back on though as zero-s was kind enough to point out, I would rather the lip be scrapped than the bumper itself.Hey drift-sx, my avatar has been my buddy icon for years.
