hello

I got a 350z and i've been drifting it a bit just to see how it feels..Im still a bit depressed cuz Im not sure if I am going to be able to really drift it..maybe you just need a million dollar team covering your back to pay for all the expenses so u can drift this high tech machine..ITS GOT SO MUCH TECHNOLOGY YOU CANT EVEN BRAKE OR ACCELERATE IN THE NORMAL WAY ANYMORE.all for the crappy old man who dont know how to drive...wtf..anyway..

I WANNA DRIFT (my life away) WHAT MODIFICATIONS DO I HAVE TO MAKE SO THE CAR WILL BE PREPARED TO DRIFT?

thanks in advance.

what trim level z you got? base? touring? enthusiast/track?

FYI the base model is best for drifting since its lighter and has no stability control to worry about, but does not come with LSD(open-diff) which you will need

all you'll need to drift is an LSD and tie-rods(more angle)no horsepower mods necessary since the motor makes great low to mid-end torque which is where you really need it

"you will need to disable all traction control devices"

the tighter the rear diff is the better, but the LSD or a welded diff is mandatotory, and if you got traction controll turn it off!, if you got good sticky tires, get cheaper harder ones, next step add HP and practice, there is a definite level of skill required to do any amount of drifting, you have to control the vehicle once it's adhesion and maximim slip angle have been exceeded using only steering and throttle imputs, getting into a drift is easy but putting it into a controlled sustained drift taht comes with practice

as long as you got the LSD, you dont really need any more mods. I cusco LSD makes it alot easier, and coilove help, but you really dont need all that stuff. just practice!
