Im having a big debate over how to spend my money. I either want to get coilovers, which would be D2 RS coils, or fix up my sound system and get strut bars. My sound system is horrible (only the back speakers work) so this would be a huge improvement to the car. Coilovers would just be awesome though.

I would say coilovers but it sounds like you are already leaning towards getting a new sound system. Either one would be great though. If you do go sound get some infinity speakers. Thats what I got and I love them.

I would lock the choices before someone puts something stupid in them. Just an fyi.

If you don't track the car or plan on tracking it, coilovers are useless. They suck for daily driving. It you're just cruising around, definitely go for the sound improvement.

get cheapper coils, slam that bish and buy some decent speakers for the front. have a little bit of both......you are obviously not going to track the car if you are thinking about a sound system.keep upgrading your system as you go.

I'm going to disagree with this one. After years of spring/strut setups on both s13 and s14... I can say I'm tired of unsightly wheel gap and coilovers are great for increasing your car's aesthetic appeal.

Yes, coilovers were originally designed for racing applications. But thankfully now, there are applications designed for those of us who have come to the realization that their car will probably never see much track time at all. These applications allow us to find a happy medium between looks and performance.

I say get a good quality, entry level coilover kit and set it up to as best as you can. I'm not for slamming, but hey... whatever floats your boat.

I was in a similiar boat for my S14. I ordered Megan street coilovers a few days ago.

on a dd/street car, coilovers are merely for looks.. They're not going to benefit you as much as having music to listen to while you're driving your car.

i vote stereo.
