Well as some of you may know my car got hit while parked at my work 2 months ago. I got a door from a pick-A-part type place and i decided to repaint the whole car. About 2 weeks before my car got hit i had just bought a set of 5zigen super six wheels in 17's and got 2 yokohama AVS ES100's tires. Since i decided to repaint my car i decided to go all out and get a bodykit , which makes more sense to me since im repainting. I know I know about the all show no go aspect of this but i AM planning on going forced induction. =] Anyways i still need to buy the rear bumper and spoiler to complete the kit and 2 more tires , then i need to save up and repaint which is going to cost me about 1200-1500 (my nextdoor neighbor works at a bodyshop) My problem is my parents are getting sick of all this **** sitting at there house (i dont live at home) and want me to start doing something with everything laying around the house i.e. body kit , tires , wheels , door etc. I was originally planning on doing it ALL at once but now it seems that i need to do something with all my car parts. So should i:

A. Put wheels and tires on to clear up some space B. Rent a storage place to store it for a couple months.C. Find a friend to hold it for me.D. Leave it at my girlfriends house.

Heres about how much i have left for this part of my grand 240sx plan.

2 more tires : 215 bucks shipped.Bomex kit: 375 (rear bumper) and 200-250 est. for another brand spoiler.1200-1500 for the repainting of my car.

2,100 left for this phase.

So what should i do??? Im guessing its going to take another 2-3 months to get the remaining things i need.

tell your parents to suck it up and deal with it or you'll kick their arses. seriously it ain't like they are doing anything with all that space. what a bunch of pricks.:D J/K

if your car is already lowered, I'd get the tires and put them on. if not, then store the crap at your girlfreinds house if she's cool with it. Don't rent any space that seems silly.

There's always room to store stuff - I remember keeping my VMax in my bedroom (1 br apartment) in college because my neighbor's bike got jacked...

Already had a set of headers, a set of track tires/rims for my CRX, and 2 fenders for my 68 GranSport in the room... LOL - It definitely put a crimp in the dating action. :D

Well... I know it'll be a long trip.. but bring it all up here to Maine, and I'll keep a good eye on it for ya! BTW, you didn't mention if the body kit was for an s13 or s14? and are the wheels 4-lug? If so... then yeah... I'll hold onto it all for ya... no charge... and um... no rush to pick it up either!

It may all get put to use in the meantime!!! or maybe.... ooops... it all got stolen dude? Strangest thing.

Get the biggest things put on first. Then store the rest at a friends house or try to leave it there. I wouldn't put it at your girls house though. Why can't you take some of it to where you stay? It might make a world of difference.

I'd tell the parents to hang on just a bit longer until you get the other set of tires, then put all 4 wheels on. See if that appeases them for a while, it should buy you another couple weeks...then put the body kit on and primer the car, drive it around like that until you can afford the paint job and skip the spoiler. at least thats the order I would go in...well actually, I wouldnt have gotten a body kit in the first place, I'd just fix whatever got dented with a junkyard replacement and then repaint it...it'd be cheaper and cheaper is good :D
