Ok, the wheels that I really want I can only get in a 48mm offset. That is as low as they go. I really need like a 37 or 38mm offset to clear my brake calipers. So, with a 48mm offset, do you think just go ahead and get a spacer and everything would be cool? I would be getting 17"x7.5" size and run 235's all around. Oh, what size sidewall is good w/ these tires? 45 right, since stock 205 tires are 55wall?

To recap, should I get a spacer w/ the 48mm offset wheels, or just try and find some other rims (which I really dont want to do). And what is the best size tire for these rims, i know i want a 235 width, but what about wall?

Thanks guys.

The closest would be a 235/40-17 but that would likely require at least an 8" wide rim. That's going to be very tight.

I dont really like spacers either, but it might be my only option since I can't find any fawking rims that I like w/ the correct offset
