What to do first

After the sr20det swap what should be the first thing to do? On the newbie sticky they say what to do. Are they in order of what should be done for effective ness? thanks

please....please....if you are going to do the swap, use some common sense and upgrade the fuel pump while you do it, you have to realize that your car is OLD, and chances are that pumps seen better days and MIGHT be having problems powering your KA, let alone the bigger injectors and fuel demand of the SR. As for the fuel filter, thats a dead give away, you should change your fuel filter every 20-30k miles anyways, its just general maintence. you might as well do it while your already dirty and smelling like gas so just finish the fuel pump, crack another beer and pull the filter and replace it....its not hard.
