okay guys. i just bought an 08 Altima sedan 2.5 S from TownNorth Nissan here in Austin, TX. i know that all the dealership are different, but what CAN i do to my new baby without jeopardizing my warranty?

I want to do:Wheels(concerned about cambers..etc)and HIDs.Cold air.also. you know that thing they have on G35s' trunk? that lil lip? i wonder if that'll fit on my Altima?

another thing.as much as i try to clean my glass, there's always these lil spots that you wont see unless its wet, HOW DO I GET RID off it? people say to use alcohol or vinegar? HELP, i hate those things.

thanks.

will post some pic soon. its just stock right now.

First off, Welcome to NICO! lets see some pics

As far as I know the only parts that wont Void the warranty are Nismo parts. The only thing is, that the nismo exhaust is pretty much the only part available from Nismo. I don't think wheels would, cuz the dealerships put wheels on.

as far as intake, most intake companies will say that it won't affect the warranty, but if something goes wrong with the engine the dealership will blame it on the intake.

H.I.D.s not sure, but a lot of people have them.

body componets i.e. bumper, wing, sideskirts. I wouldn't think but not sure.

hope this helps

Agreed with the comments,

Wheels...none...(think about it like you got a flat tire and bent your rim...the company would not void the warranty because you had to go get a steel rim to ride on...so they don't punish when you go the other way either and get nicer rims)

HIDs...Bulbs...and the wires leading from the steering wheel to lights, but if install is done safely this is a non-issue.

Spoiler...will void the trunks warrenty in terms of Rust (you ARE drilling in the car, that is expected) and the shocks that hold it up (but should be a non-issue...worst case is 50$ fix to replace). Get a shop to do the install and they will warrenty the trunk from rust, and if they don't; go to a different shop!

For LEDs...look at the MODs thread and peoples sigs. Around the headlights and under our bumper are the most common OUTSIDE applications. Inside is foot wells and in all the stock lighting locations.

Or if you are Phenom, put lights EVERYWHERE!!!!
