What to do about transmission?

The transmission on a 1991 Nissan 240SX costs almost double the price of the entire car. So, I thought I would try one last hope: the internet.

The transmission fluid leaked out after a JIFFY LUBE servicing (ya dont ever go there), and I drove it about 1000 miles while leaking, probably about 300 w/o any fluid.

If anyone knows where I could get a cheap or free transmission in the North Bay area of California, please let me know. I can hook it up with Chronic and most of my female friends are really cute.

Nice incentives there man...I would go after Jiffy lube...You know they make two completely different style of transmissions for the car, any idea on what one your looking for?try the classifieds and junk yards transmissions usually don't seem to be more then a few hundred.
