Hey folks

im about to install a set of poncam's and a greddy sump into my sr20det 180sx, when i removed the rocker cover theres a little grime in there, not alot , but im just wondering what chemical/product can i use to clean the head with as im changing the cams ?

it'll all drain down to the sump but ill be changing the sump straight after doing the cams.

any direction to what safe cleaner to use is appreciated

cheers

Is it chunky? I had some hard sludge build up in my sisters car I to basically scrape it and then spray it down with barb clean...... lots of cab clean.

Brake cleaner, but I'd try to avoid letting any gunk go down into the motor. Scrape everything you can with a plastic putty knife, then brake cleaner on a rag or two and wipe it clean. Also:
1. I'm jealous cams are next on my list.
2. You got rocker arm stoppers?
