What to check before purchasing 240sx 1992-93

Hi, I'm about to buy a 240sx , 150K kilometers, (around 70K miles?) and I would like to know if theres any special things to check, if theres any general known flaws on this kind of car.

Check frame rails, wheel wells and engine bay + strut towers for rust. Basically if its rust free then you should be good. If you dont want to have to fix any rust spots then pass on it if it has them. Your asking this question so I'm assuming its your first 240 and if I have any advice its be patient and find a rustless car.

Car is rustless owner said, frame and floor perfect, but I have not seen it in person. Thats why I asked this question, to know where to check when I will see it .

Scroll down to buying guide. Also google some guides on buying used cars. Particularly look at how to spot if the car has been in an accident (rear ended, hit from the side, etc). If they check for smog where you live, then make sure the previous owner smog checked the car.

No problem I was there once, so I know what its like. I tend not to trust what people say unless they have pics or you see it in person. Always better that way. Most people hide things cause they want to reel you in especially newbs lol. But anyway good luck bro post up some pics if you get it

good luck im interested in buying my first 240sx too. Gonna be looking around and saving money for a few months though, making sure im pretty prepared for anything that may happen a bit after i buy.
