Hey guys! I've been a fellow Nico member for a few years now and I am need of a larger vehicle. I'm deciding between a Supercharged Frontier(crewcab)/Xterra, the new generation 4.0L Frontier (crew cab only), or a 2001-2004 Pathfinder. Which would be the best choice, and there any issue with the supercharged Frontier's or Xterra's? All feedback will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

I am partial to the older stuff so a pre-2005 Frontier wouold be a good choice. The SC should be good up to 100k from what I have read.

What happens after 100k? Do the superchargers require maintenance/rebuild? Thanks for the feedback!

from what i have read after 100k the SC's go bad around that mileage.. so i guess rebuild/replacememnts would be in order!

Ouch! That sucks, but I guess that's what to be expected w/ supercharged engines. I really wanted a supercharged Xterra/Frontier, now I'm starting to lean toward a VQ powered 2001-2004 Pathfinder.

unless you plan do mod the truck for off roading, the Pathfinder is a better choice in just about every way.

This coming from someone who owns two D21 trucks (which happen to be heavily modified for off roading...)
